Locally there is the golf course at Muir of Ord, which is just a 5 minute drive, a great James Braid designed 18 hole course. The wonderfully scenic Aigas Golf Course is a beautiful 10 minute drive and has an interesting and challenging 9 holes.
Within a 15 minute drive is Strathpeffer Golf Club another wonderfully scenic 18 hole course in the historic spa village of Strathpeffer. Inverness has three golf clubs, Loch Ness Golf Club at Fairways, Inverness Golf Club and Kings Golf Club all 18 hole courses.
Finally we cannot forget to mention the James Braid designed course at Fortrose and Rosemarkie. You can enjoy a round of golf on the Moray Firth coast and perhaps spot some dolphins.

Golf Courses further afield
Being the home of golf, Scotland has a large and varied range of courses. Here are just a few that can easily be visited within an hour or so drive from your holiday accommodation at Chrialdon House Bed and Breakfast in Beauly.
Castle Stewart Golf links which famously hosted the Scottish Open in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016 is about a 30 minute drive away and offers a challenge for all golfers.

Nairn Golf Course and Nairn Dunbar Golf Course are both in the seaside town of Nairn, perhaps the more adventurous players can try both on the same day.
